These Terms & Conditions govern your use of News Tune, an app that aggregates headlines, summaries, and links from Bangladesh's Bangla-language newspapers. By downloading, installing, or using News Tune, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What News Tune is
News Tune is a news aggregator. It organizes and links to publicly available articles, headlines, and feeds published by third-party Bangla newspapers, so you can browse them in one convenient app. News Tune is not a publisher of original news content, and the newspapers featured in the app are independent third parties not owned or operated by us.
2. Content ownership
All news articles, headlines, images, logos, and other content accessible through News Tune remain the property of the respective newspapers and publishers that created them. News Tune does not claim ownership of this third-party content. The News Tune name, logo, and app design are our own property and may not be copied or used without permission.
3. Acceptable use
When using News Tune, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates the rights of any newspaper, publisher, or third party.
- Attempt to copy, scrape, redistribute, or republish content from the app or its linked sources at scale, or misrepresent content as your own.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app's normal operation, including any attempt to bypass security or access restrictions.
- Use automated tools to access the app in a way that places unreasonable load on it or its content sources.
4. Third-party links and content
News Tune links to websites and content operated by third-party newspapers. We do not review, control, or endorse this third-party content, and we are not responsible for its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or opinions expressed within it. Any dispute you have regarding an article's content, accuracy, or copyright should be directed to the publishing newspaper, not to News Tune.
5. Advertising
News Tune may display advertising to support the free operation of the app. Ads may be provided by third-party advertising networks, and interacting with an ad may take you outside the app. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party advertisers.
6. Availability of the service
We aim to keep News Tune available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Newspaper feeds may be delayed, unavailable, or discontinued by their publishers at any time and without notice, and this is outside our control. We may also update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at our discretion.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
News Tune is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the news content aggregated through the app is accurate, complete, or current, as this is determined by the original publishers.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, News Tune and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on any content accessed through it, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from third-party newspaper content.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to News Tune at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms & Conditions. You may stop using News Tune at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our app, legal requirements, or business practices. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are made. Continued use of News Tune after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [Insert Country/Jurisdiction, e.g., the People's Republic of Bangladesh], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
